The President's Resolute Desk: The Eagle, a Symbol of America

100% Silk, Woven Tie

Used by many presidents in the Oval Office at the White House, the desk made from the oak timbers of the British ship H.M.S. Resolute, was a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880. This tie features the American eagle carved on the kneehole panel of the historic desk.

100% silk. Woven in France for the White House Historical Association.
