Title: President Ford and his dog, Liberty

Description: Liberty, President Ford’s golden retriever, joins her master in the Oval Office. President Ford used a desk that was made in 1858 for the Vice Presidential ceremonial room in the U. S. Capitol. During the Ford administration, a pale yellow rug and gold curtains decorated the Oval Office.
