Title: East Room, Abraham Lincoln Administration

Description: The East Room during Lincoln’s administration had wall-to-wall red and blue floral carpeting, wallpaper with gold highlights, massive glass chandeliers, tall golden mirrors, and a long rectangular table for dinner parties. It was the most impressive room in the White House.
